Of the Seven Deadly Sins, 3 of 7
Vanity
Long golden hair,
Wool spun into immeasurable wealth.
Go ahead, touch it.
How could I mind
Such diserved attentions
From someone like you?
Lean in close,
Kiss me deeply --
Watch you don't smudge
My Frosted Ruby lips.
Some people think that
Nine dollars a tube is too expensive.
Don't they know beauty isn't cheap?
Sure, let your hungry eyes roam my body.
Like a starved man, you reach,
You crave.
Touch gently --
I paid a lot for those.
Mind if I dress?
I want to see myself,
See the face in the mirror.
Oh! I moan in my throat.
The face in the mirror!
Such beauty, such refined grace,
I take my breath away.
I could stand here,
Spend endless hours and never tire.
What a view...
No! Don't touch me!
Those soiled hands
On my dress, I'd rather fall over and die.
That I am even gracing your life
With my presence
Should be more than enough for you.
Full lips,
Bright eyes,
Long lashes that curl on their own.
I gasp, I choke up --
Is that a curl out of place?
Tuck it back with crimson, laquered nails.
I am perfection.
Weep at how you look, that you are not me.
A night on the town,
Let the world love me.
One last glance at my own perfection.
I am the fairest one of all.

I'm going to go and have a nosy at your other Deadly Sins!
